Our Legacy & History

Founded in 1984, the Filipino American Association of Tax Practitioners Texas has been a beacon of professional excellence for over four decades.

Four Decades of Professional Excellence

The Filipino American Association of Tax Practitioners Texas (FAATX) was established in 1984 by a group of visionary Filipino accountants in Houston. Their goal was simple: to create a community of professionals who could support each other while serving the growing Filipino population in Texas.
Over the years, FAATX has evolved into a leading professional organization, hosting annual conventions, providing continuing professional education (CPE), and fostering a deep sense of camaraderie among its members.
